Dan leads with empathy, compassion, and a genuine belief that all people deserve to receive the support they need and the opportunity to recover in the context of community. Including his current role as CEO of Gilead Community Services, Dan has spent over 25 years in the nonprofit human services field, from directly serving as a case manager and therapist to teaching Mental Health First Aid and serving on volunteer boards for other community organizations.
